Tom's tear is a beautiful and heartbreaking thing! I also love the hoodedness of Voldemort in this - you've given him the right amount of screen time without drawing attention away from the lovely young!Tom. And oh, the colours - just beautiful. I'm glad the background changed - I think it workds perfectly here, for both of them.

I think it's brilliant. I have a soft spot for green and black, but the emotion is nicely conveyed, and the line work is quite spiffy.

It's comments like these that make all the hours on this worthwhile. I had so much trouble with the colouring, which I must have redone a dozen times. Lizard and Mosh kept me from actually deleting the pic in disgust. The lineart will be narrower in future OC drawings, but I'm so relieved this one worked.

i actually like how ambiguous this is. the expression on tom's face which makes him look sad, then down to hand peeking out and then it could be pleasure... how tom's face is so much on display, with the colours on his cheek and the tear while there's only a hint of voldemort's face hovering there... it's all foreshadowy.

I'm so glad you caught that. :) Tom's release is equally emotional as it is physical. Voldemort is watching his younger self with pity, wishing he could tell Tom that he is *somebody*, and will be a greater man than his younger self can even conceive of. Tom's only way to relieve his emotional frustration is physically, and Mosh has done a lovely job of writing his frustration in her fic.

hey, really liked this artwork. It suits the fic brilliantly. The tone of the piece is too angsty for smut-art. I found this subtle and the way the older voldemort is hovering over Tom is just brilliant. love the tear

I wasn't sure what rating to give this piece, as readers would each have a different take on the story. I see this piece as more angsty than smutty too. I can't bring myself to draw NC-17 stuff, so I fall back on facial expressions and hinting.
